So don't get confused, i... read more The restaurant has recently been relocated from in front of the Halles to the previously owned crêperie building further down the road. So don't get confused, it is not a crêperie anymore but a pizzeria. It has a lot of very comfy indoor tables, but also a very beautiful outdoor terrace with plenty of sittings. The owner, from Venezia in Italy, is such a funny character and it was a delight to chat with him (incl. in Italian) as he brings an authentic vibe to the place. We ordered a few pizzas to share and they were all delicious, especially the dough was thin and tasted great. But you have to try their desserts: the frozen tiramisu was amazing and the orange sorbet, literally served in a frozen orange, was just the perfect way to end our diner. I would highly recommend this place for the food, the staff, and the atmosphere.

We’ve been here for a week and have found the food to be... read more No idea why this place is rated 7th out of the 9 places to eat in this delightfully pretty little town. We’ve been here for a week and have found the food to be excellent and the service great. Much better than many of the other seemingly more popular establishments round the main square. The carpaccio is my particular favourite, in fact we are heading there for another portion this evening!

The lady serving us was really sweet the chef seemed really sweet too. Unfortunately the food was not very good quality, my husband ordered veal got chicken (we didn’t say anything), my baby spilt my wine we weren’t offered a refill, the main guy didn’t seem very friendly to us or to his staff... I just got the impression the business was out to make money rather than serve good qualitative food, provide a nice atmosphere let the money follow on afterwards. I definitely think they could turn this around as there aren’t many restaurants open in the village; I need it just needs better direction.

We ordered pizza, pasta and three drinks. The waiter threw the menu and said that he would not serve us because we had a table for four people and should order another dish. He did not explain to us in advance. He was immediately rude and annoyed. We wanted to order the third dish he said ““ as you want ”and threw the menu. We asked“ should we leave? ”And he said“ I don’t know. ”He didn’t even want to look at us. We left hungry and the child cried. It ruined impression of the whole trip. It ruined impression of the whole trip. In no country have we been treated like this.

Friendly service,... read more Ristorante Gabriele is locate in the middle of this very charming little Town, not far from Rouen. They serve food until late in the evening. Friendly service, very nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. We had a Pizza Regina, a Carpaccio and a Tiramisu. The Carpaccio and Tiramisu were delicious and also the pizza was very good. I can warmly recommend to go there!
