The beer is not terribly expensive and there's a fair amount of choice. The staff and patrons are friendly. Food looked better than your ordinary pub fare but I didn't try any. I'm not the type to drop 13 euros on a hamburger unless I know it's going to be good!I love the artwork upstairs -- it features dogs in assorted compromising positions. Very funny. View all feedback.
What Margaud Lesage doesn't like about The Dog's Bollocks:
Food aside can't really understand why this pub is so popular. Tasty burger yes. But flat beer and idiots drinking inside and out spoiled it. Maybe we just hit in a bad day. But can honestly the carlsberg we drank was horrid Flat and tasted stale I couldn't wait to leave. Tried to give benefit of the doubt. But all 3 pints and the third was a different brand (can't remember the name). View all feedback.
The perfect place to experience something new! The waiters are spunky with a small setting and the food is 10/10 with burgers the size of your face, and the pizza is the size of a small child. Knives and forks do not exist here, so make sure you like to eat with your face!
For a bar that's always busy. Every time you go there, the service is friendly, fun and always with a smile. You're so kind. The Happy Hour prices are great and great selection of beer. Also the best riders in the Croix Rousse. Franchement, Vraiment le top!
Great place to visit. Great atmosphere. Local beers.
The ambience is great, well located in Croix-Rousse. Great beer and friendly staff. The only negative point is that sometimes you need to wait for food for a really long time. Burgers are good.
Good pub. Serves a nice pint of carlsberg. Good atmosphere
