My partner had food poisoning (from an unrelated restaurant). We called first thing in the morning and the restaurant chose to be responsible and cancel the res... read more My partner had food poisoning (from an unrelated restaurant). We called first thing in the morning and the restaurant chose to be responsible and cancel the reservation right away! They returned the deposit and had their guests in the top of their priorities. No wait, they didn't return the deposit and didn't cancel the reservation. They said they would only cancel it if they find an alternative booking. Do they prefer their customers come in sick to avoid paying the cancellation fee? I would think twice before going to a restaurant which treats illnesses like this.. What do they tell their employees when they're sick? To come anyways? Do they prefer their customers come in while sick and vomit in their toilets? Very irresponsible policy and not a service level I would expect from a restaurant like this.
