We have recently dined at l’emir, and there was only one other table. we decided to try it when we came past a day and the aroma from the kitchen pulled us in.... read more We have recently dined at l’emir, and there was only one other table. we decided to try it when we came past a day and the aroma from the kitchen pulled us in. the service is friendly and efficient, and the decor feels very...authentic in general, the eating was very good (except the Mediterranean salat that swim in the dressur and had a very strange type of cold meat that tasted like bodega.) the chicken batilla was delicious and enough for four people! we asked ourselves if we were sharing a day, but we were advised that they were for the chicken tagine with lemon and green olives was absolutely excellent, and we just left the bones and scrub! the tagine au coquelette was also very good, but had similar spices with the chicken batilla, so would not recommend to order them at the same meal try another day because they do not want to miss the bastilla! we think going with a big party and sharing many different dishes would be a good idea. the only complaining is that the eating ambiente is missing. the traditional music was too loud, and in the corner there was a television that played old American TV shows, and if not waiting for the tables, the waiter sat and looked tw in full of all the diners. from this reason we would not give them stars, which is too bad, because it is very good, and something else if they don't want French cuisine.

On y mange certainement très bien en temps normal, mais pour un jour de l'an c'était horrible.Nourriture sans goût et bas de gamme, ambiance beaucoup trop bruya... read more On y mange certainement très bien en temps normal, mais pour un jour de l'an c'était horrible.Nourriture sans goût et bas de gamme, ambiance beaucoup trop bruyante - beaucoup trop tôt dans la soirée - car après c'est un jour de l'an il est normal de faire la fête.Le dessert (patisserie marocaine) était sûrement très bon mais il était tout petit !je ne suis pas resté pour le thé c'était trop horrible.
