We ate there at noon, the 4-cheese pennes and gravlax salmon are very good. The best remains the dessert where they make a very good and very big (very copier, we share it) floating island to the pralines. A treat from the dish to the dessert. The price remains correct for two.

A superb welcome that becomes rare not to be mentioned here!... This could almost stop there but not at all in fact: the kitchen is superb, generous black angus, magret of sumptuous duck, you master the cooking and all the codes of the traditional restoration of a friendly Lyon cuisine that you like to find!!! So to the whole Layon team: beautiful and happy year 2024 and thank you for the good time with family that you have made us pass without ever grimacering from the aperitif to dessert!

The escargots, frog legs and Salade Lyonnaise were outstanding – and the sourdough bread with its perfect crust was a highlight on its own. Very friendly service, just a bit slow. Frog legs are their specialty, so it was really delicious. It was eight of us on Sunday evening. Only us and other table of four people. We tried variety dishes from the menu. Everything was tasty, but we weren't blown away, just happy and would recommend to try frog legs. Service was very good, but again there was only two tables at the time. Prices are very reasonable, we spend more cause we had 2 bottles of champagne. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60
