A wonderful discovery: the food is excellent, the portions are generous, and you'll find the expertise and authenticity of traditional restaurants. As for the chef, you'll be delighted to meet him!
Three of us came for dinner. When you walk into the restaurant, keep its name in mind: LE DÉCALÉ! (The Offbeat One)! The service was friendly and quirky, the decor fun and offbeat, and the food exceptionally good with generous portions! We highly recommend it! Thanks again to the person who looked after us throughout the entire meal!
As its name suggests LE DÉCALÉ, the entire decoration is completely offbeat. The frame is original, I'm a fan. I enjoyed the weekday lunch menu. Everything was extremely delicious. The portions are very generous. The staff is smiling and efficient. To do again very quickly! Decale and the Brasserie des Brotteaux are owned by the same people, and it should be no surprise that there is an emphasis on quality of food. Decale is a bit less traditional with some quite inventive dishes. I was struck by the farm egg in pastry with a fricassee of wild mushroom. And I very much enjoyed the paleron of veal. I had tried the address on a previous visit to Lyon in the Spring, and was glad to revisit. Indeed, I went for lunch and then back for dinner! And they have an interesting selection of wines by the glass that complement the dishes.
