Two years ago we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. We were not familiar with the city and were looking for a place to dine. Though we did not have a reservation, they made a table for us and we had the best meal we had in Lyon. We returned this year, Caroline (who's husband is also the chef) remembered us and we had another excellent meal with equally kind and helpful service. It is clear that great care is taken for each dish served. You will not be disappointed.
I opted for the dinner menu at 52€ which includes amuse bouche 3 courses of choice. it was a journey of different flavors. A fusion of French, Asian and southern American cuisine from chef Keravec. Besides the good food, the staff were professional and friendly! Great experience overall.
Exceptional service. Very friendly, attentive and informative regarding the dishes. We got the dégustation menu. All of the dishes featured French dishes with modern spins. They were are delicious, and our general favorite was the mushroom and poached egg. The dessert was divine, and I won't say more about it to not ruin the surprise.
An excellent last minute find which exceeded all expectations. The imagination, presentation and quality of the cooking was superb. Great vale and great service.
Sadly we were the only diners inside so no atmosphere which may also have influenced our review. Not as good as we hoped as the ideas didn’t work that well. Some nice flavours but nothing that made us go ‘wow!’ We’re not fans of smears of food across the plate or little jugs of sauce if they don’t add anything. More about chef’s skills than a tasty plate of food.
