Contribute Feedback What Charlotte Camus doesn't like about Bangkok royal:
the place in the very early hours had almost no one, but the service was bad as if all sit table. When I arrived there, there was almost no one, but I have to wait for my silly. more than half an hour. once I decided to remember the personal that I still waited for the other court, he saw me unmanned with the harassed face, not to mention when I asked about the bill and he was not to serve with the kind and nice wise... I had a great experience at Bangkok as a solo traveler. I did not have a reservation but was seated with no problem. After I arrived about the restaurant filled up with groups and families. I was able to order the Massaman curry at...the level of heat I preferred. It is typically prepared with two stars but I requested (and got) one star heat. It was delicious great flavor, very tender, and only two small fatty pieces in the very large serving. Warning the curry does not come with rice as it does in the US you have to order it separately. I didn't realize this and was surprised when they didn't bring rice but I then asked for it and they brought it right away.
Starter of Chicken Satay was average. Main Prawn dish was very good but the Lamb Massaman was excellent, best ever. House wine lovely. Waiter was very helpful and good English. Thought it a bit expensive compared to other Thai restaurants in England but hey we...were in France. Would visit again when next in Lyon.
A very good place to have Thai food in Lyon and food was great But one thing don't order papaya salad was terrible for me! I recommend you to try beef pad kapow and Chiken coconut soup (Tom kha kai).
A very nice place in the foothill of Croix Rousse bordering with the Opera at the center of Lyon. Food was excellent, very balanced, not too hot and very fragrant. Service was very friendly and very prompt. The assortment of fried rolls was exquisite, the...chicken soup mouth watering, as was the beef salad with amazing thai basil and spicy as it should be. The pork with ginger super delicious. With one and a half carafe of house wine and two espressos euros!
We are moving Thai food. Last night we went to dinner in the restaurant called thai harmonie here clear the room setting and decoration is less beautiful, but really eating .is almost uncompatible. really a league up. all our dishes were just super gooddone.
