As time was getting o... read more Arriving at our hotel nearby latish on a Saturday evening we were on our way to another restaurant but stopped to have a peek at the menu. As time was getting on, we thought we'd give it a try, so glad we did. The food was delicious, fresh ingredients and pleasant staff. My husband and son both went for the set menu which was very good value, starting with the most delicious salad beautifully seasoned with sauce and fresh herbs, I couldn't resist helping them eat it. They then had a tofu curry which was good, although quite fiery and I had noodles with tofu and vegetables. To finish my husband and I had apple fritters, freshly fried in a light batter with no trace of grease, softly dusted with sugar. We had a small carafe of red wine which was good and very reasonable. The restaurant was quite busy but the tables are widely spaced so no feeling of being cramped and the waitress was friendly and helpful.
