The Swan Inn - Lyndhurst

We absolutely love this pub! My husband swears that their steaks are the best in the area, and their prices are quite competitive with others. The Swan serves amazing food; I had the smoked trout with new potatoes, salad, and buttered bread, and it was delightful! I've tried many of their dishes and have always been impressed. And the desserts? Simply fantastic! It's a wonderful family-friendly pub, complete with a children's play area and a lovely garden. They also welcome well-behaved dogs, which adds to its charm. We live in Lymington and visit the Swan regularly throughout the year. There's a cozy fireplace for the colder months, and they sometimes have live music. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the pub itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. It maintains a high standard of cleanliness, which is crucial. Overall, it's just perfect!

This place is definitely a fantastic stop for any traveler in need of refreshments. Although we didn't see much of the regular food being served at other tables, what we did catch a glimpse of looked very appetizing, especially the pies. The restrooms were clean, but they could use some automatic deodorizing!

I visited the Swan with some friends during a recent trip to the area. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. We made the most of the sunny weather by sitting in the large garden and sampling some ciders. As the day went on, the pub got quite busy, and I noticed that many customers were ordering food, which looked quite good from where I was sitting.
