Ploughcroft Tea Room - Lynchburg

My daughter wanted her sweet 16 party to be a tee party, her and 12 friends were dressed and had the afternoon tea. all in ploughcroft tea room were very nice. the sweet tasty were delicious! and of course the tee was divine! I think all children had a wonderful time!

With my great daughter, had a wonderful time, remembered me when I went to england. service was great, teesandwiches was delicious and dessert fabulous! must go, visit the atmosphere from all the pond enjoy!

One of my close friends, Erica, works at this restaurant and I can understand why. It is a hidden gem and the perfect spot for private events or simply to enjoy a good book. They offer unique specialties that I had never tasted before and they are absolutely mouthwatering. The ambiance transports you to another world, making it a fantastic escape.

My wife loves the place and it's a great place for girls get-together', however I felt a little out of my depth with the tiny delicate teacups, small chairs and general atmosphere. That being said I really like their scones, cottage pie and lapsang souchong tea (wonderful smoky flavor).

The food was incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was charming. Overall, a delightful dining experience.
