Bootleggers - Lynchburg

Our burgers (the Smoke Gun and Numero Uno) were incredibly flavorful and not greasy at all! The fries were hot and fresh, and the BBQ sauce was out of this world. Jimmy provided excellent service and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great restaurant located high up on a cliff with convenient parking. You can either park at the top and walk down 85 stairs to reach it, or park down by the river. The restaurant offers a beautiful selection of liqueurs, along with some craft beer. We all tried the burgers, which were delicious thanks to a high brisket mix. There are two cooking options, and I chose mine to be slightly pink, but they ended up being a bit overcooked. Nevertheless, they were still juicy and delicious. The view from the restaurant lookout was fantastic. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar area. This is just one of the seven restaurants in the area that should be visited. Spend a day exploring the area and make sure to visit this restaurant.

Burgers were great! also appetizer (loaded dead and pretzel bites) were fantastic. the personal was funny, friendly and attentive. the atmosphere was really cool. great location in beautiful, historical, inner city of lynchburg. was only for a week in the city and it was the best culinary experience while it was. Don't miss it!

Was passing though town, stopped for lunch. The chicken wings and drinks were awesome. Great atmosphere inside. Definitely recommend if you are local or just stopping by for lunch or dinner. Service was great.

Stumbled upon this place looking for a lunch spot with my family and boy are we glad this is the spot we chose. I think bourbon, burgers and beer is my new mantra. Food was good, drinks were great and our service was superb (even though our server said it was only her second day! . If we only lived in the area we'd be sure to be back. Check it out it's worth it if your in for a good burger and a cocktail/beer.
