Re... read more We had a lovely meal at the Bear lodge! We were met by a lovely member of staff who knew we were celebrating and offered us a free cocktail for the occasion! Restaurant is set in the Bear lodge camp of the zoo. Great choice of food which was really delicious! All staff members were really friendly and attentive. We were so glad we chose the Bear lodge over the Garden room due to the poor reviews of the Garden room and bad service we had experienced there for breakfast then next day! Do not be put off by the fact the Bear lodge is further away from the hotel than the Garden room! You can use the buggy and is 100% worth it for a more pleasant evening!
