The view on the lake is ama... read more We drove to Mathisll on a very narrow raad along the lake (this is breathtaking). We were welcomed at Mathisll on the noce terracce. The view on the lake is amazing. Mathisll offers a large menu with fantastic dishes and very good wine (I had a lovely pinot grigio). The prices of the dishes are a relief in Switzerland. This place is worth a trip by car, boat or when you're hiking.

A short walk will lead you the Mathisli. Enjoy a glass of white wine in the garden and then move up to the cosy restaurant with a breathtaking view over Lake Lucerne. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service impeccable, the food delicious. Excellent value for money. The last boat leaves for Lucerne shortly before midnight. Watch out for closing days (usually Monday and Tuesday and some holiday periods).
