I’ve stayed in many hostels and that one was the best one! I found it through booking and the price for the service and the room was an amazing deal.value for money 100%. The room was so clean, and the view was amazing. From my room, I could see directly the lake . In the room, there was also a desk and its bed have its personal lamp so you don’t annoy the other roommates during the night. The bathroom had always hot water, and it was perfectly clean. I didn’t stay at the public spaces, but they were beautifully decorated and neat. In most of the hostels it’s just a bed, a kitchen and a bathroom but in that one It felt that they actually made an effort to make it comfortable and enjoyable. I had a great stay there I would definitely recommend it without a second thought.

The accommodati... read more This was my first time using Backpackers, so I wasn't sure if it was like a hostel. There are two shared kitchens and they were well maintained. The accommodation was nice because it had a veranda, but in order for three people to stay together, someone had to go up to the high second floor, which was inconvenient. It was nice that there were many shower rooms and toilets so I could use them right away without waiting. The location is a bit further from Lucerne Station than expected. It is a good idea to check the check-in time carefully before checking in.

The whole way into town is beside the lake /through public parks. We checked in after hours and it was super easy to get in no problems. The host was so kind and let us keep our bags there for the morning even after we checked out. Would stay there again and again.
