Outstanding friendly customer service every time. If you're looking for great food atmosphere this is a must. Their burgers are by far the best you've ever eaten, and great **** Mary's! Well known throughout the entire state of Wisconsin with over a 1 million served since opening in the 1960's. Great food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. What more can you ask for?

Hungry and on your way to Door County? Just North of Green Bay and unless you 're (backroad smart) you are of course traveling NORTH on either Highway 57, 42 or County Trunk S to the Door Peninsula so why not treat yourself to some great local food and warm friendly people? Look no further than Joe Rouer 's or just Joe 's Bar in Duvall, Wisconsin. It 's on your way to Door County and a visit to this local institution is simple and easy from any of the routes North. On Highway 57, pick up County Road X and you will be traveling East not more than a mile or so to Duvall. You will be greeted promptly with a smile as you enter and if you 're lucky, the charming Melanie or Heather will serve you in two shakes of a lambs tail! I recommend the Cheeseburger, Dill Pickles, and White Cheddar Cheese curds although all of their offerings are delicious creations developed over time and of particular note is their Chili. It 's tasty and amazing! On draft is a curated variety of beer and there 's nothing like a cold Blue Moon draft with a generous slice of fresh orange. Top this off with any of their desert creations and you will be full but not too full! Lastly, depending on where you 're from you will be pleasantly surprised that they don 't gouge you when it 's time to settle up. I have always found it reasonable and inexpensive for a good quality lunch or dinner. I have been coming here since 1976 and think it 's a great place to break up your Door County journey with some good food and localized vibe. Thanks Joe 's... see you again soon! I love long running small town restaurants and bars like that put the heart in heartland of America. The type of place that when you walk in looks the same it may have looked twenty or thirty years ago (or much longer) but despite the passage of time, the quality of the food, but more importantly the people, remain. This quaint little bar is apparently known for its burger's reputation and after one bite I can confirm it is well deserved. I ordered the famous double cheeseburger and it was so spectacular the entire burger was glistening with a generous amount of butter and it had the perfect hit of salt in every bite. It was a picturesque sight when the plate arrived and the taste easily matched. Each bite damn near melted in my mouth as I ate it, the flavors melding together magically. It's a cheeesburger uniquely made in a way I've never quite had it before. I would put it up there as a Top 10, maybe top 5 cheeseburger of all time. Staff was super nice.

What a hidden gem!! Such great burgers, curds, onion pedals! And the outside seating is just fabulous! Best of all the Bay for a reason!! Staff is super friendly and just on top of it!!

Awesome burger and super waitress staff. Highly recommend making this place a stop on your Door County adventure.
