5 staff behind the counter and not one person had any idea what was going on. For something that should have taken 10 min it took over half an hour to get my order. This is now the the 2nd time I’ve visited this place and both have been a complete farce. Avoid at all costs unless you have the entire night to waste, it was painful! View all feedback.
After coming back from abroad we have a fish lot. Haddock chips wonderful fish chips made from good potatoes Best in my area by far.
I ordered via the app for delivery from Uber eats. There was a problem with the delivery and I called Cods Plaice for help. They were so helpful and assisted me with my deliver problem. The food arrived and once again Cods Plaice were extremely conscientious and wanted to be informed that I had received the order and asked me to call then on receipt of my order. The food there is always to a very high standard so much so that although it isn’t my nearest chippy I am happy to pay for delivery or drive to Cods Plaice. 10/10 for customer service and quality.

The place is nice and clean . Convenient take away meal after Sainsbury. We will going back again .thanks mike
I hoped that eating at this restaurant would help ease the disappointment of being eliminated from the World Cup, but now I feel sick. The sausage in batter was dry and disappointing, and the chips were soggy. This doesn't come as a surprise to me since I have never been served good food at this place. I will not be returning.
