Had a hour stop off in Luton Airport, and had no desire to pay Airport prices, plus with so much time on my hands it allowed the chance to cut the time with a little walk. Good minute walk from the front door...of the airport, its a little greasy spoon cafe, but prices and portions are much better than the airport. Ordered the angry Scotsman breakfast (roll with double sausage, scone and egg), a cheese salad bap and... View all feedback.
What Poppy Simpson doesn't like about Ace Sandwich:
I ordered a chicken sandwich and a ham sandwich for my lunch, but when I got home, I was disappointed to find that there was only a small amount of roast chicken in the chicken sandwich and a few slices of ham in the ham sandwich. This was not at all what I had heard about the quality of their food. I spent a lot of money on these two sandwiches and felt like I got nothing in return. Perhaps it was because of my race... Ordered the angry Scotsman breakfast (roll with double sausage, scone and egg), a cheese salad bap and coffee. Freshly prepared, and cost so while you could get a mean deal at Boots or somewhere in the airport for you get a lot better value and more tasty stuff here. Really set me up for the rest of the day, as it was close to before I had my next proper meal to eat. Staff really friendly and chatty.
Never knew this place was there, saw it when passing with my son after a visit to see the planes, ordered two egg and bacon baguettes some chips service was fast and friendly, staff were very friendly and approachable. will deffo be using this place...again and told my wife who works for david berrymans about it and she did not know it was there so i expect a few more people will use it too.
The restaurant is usually good, but I have noticed a shortage of French baguettes lately. The bap or toasted bread just doesn't compare.

Great food, great people, great experience. The family who runs this place is excellent and so is their food. Highly recommend this place, great prices and great flavor. If you’re arriving or departing out of Luton it is super convenient for a bite to eat.
