Everything is excellent: food, service, ambiance. It's my ideal restaurant. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates authenticity, honesty, and hospitality. Top
We stopped in today, almost by chance, after a long walk. We were pleasantly surprised by the location, the service, the food, and the kindness of all the waitresses. We'll definitely be back.
It's worth noting that Luserna, a quaint and isolated mountain village, boasts a remarkable dining scene, with at least four noteworthy establishments, including Ferdy. This historic restaurant has been tastefully renovated and is professionally managed. The young chef offers traditional Trentino dishes, many of which have been expertly reinterpreted. Friendly service and moderate prices.
I stopped in Luserna (November 14, 2025) after a hike in the mountains. I was looking for a place that was open, which, given that it was November and therefore low season, wasn't a given. I easily found this bar/restaurant near the village's main square, and I must admit I enjoyed both the food—excellent polenta with goulash—and the company of the locals. Over coffee, it was a pleasure to chat about the local history of Luserna and the German-speaking islands. I'll have to return to try the other dishes on the menu, which the very kind owner explained to me is usually more extensive than what was available yesterday with the start of the new season.
Beautiful surprise to Luserna Chef young, very attentive, prepared and with great future. We ate very well, roast beef with porcini, tartare, risotto with teroldego and gorgonzola, cheek cooked at low temperature, and to conclude strudel and ricotta cake. Service, very friendly and well done. Possibility to eat outside, or inside a very well maintained room. The account is correct with how much eaten. We'll be back soon. Bravo
