Rekado Filipino Comfort Cuisine - Lupon

This restaurant truly lives up to its name as one of the best places for Filipino comfort food. I absolutely love their tuna kinilaw, as the presentation is reminiscent of Japanese sashimi. Their crispy pata kare-kare is also to die for. I'll definitely be back!

The last time our family dinner is here. very good experience and of course the food top animal and I thank my onkel for the delicious bites.

The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a date or for entertaining business partners. They also offer a private function area in the back that can be reserved for special gatherings with family and friends. However, the staff could be friendlier; they seemed a bit indifferent despite it being early in the morning with few customers around. So far, I've only tried their breakfast option of chicken and pancakes. Unfortunately, the chicken was lacking in meat; it looked larger due to the broth, which was somewhat disappointing. The pancakes tasted like standard homemade pancakes. I plan to try other dishes on the menu, so I’m reserving my final judgment for now.

They put a different spin on the traditional Filipino dishes. Go here if you're into that. Not my thing. A little pricey. Great atmosphere, though.
