We had a great time dining at this restaurant. The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly. We shared a couple rounds of oysters and my husband, who has celiac disease, had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and he had no negative reactions. Just a note, they do not have cocktail sauce as it contains Worcestershire sauce which is not gluten-free. I ordered the seafood paella, which is supposed to be gluten-free,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Half Shell Oysters Seafood:
After the lunch rush began, I was asked to leave my name and phone number as there were no available tables. However, I was never contacted when a table opened up. As I waited outside the restaurant, I observed that they were seating other groups without honoring the waitlist. If the restaurant is not able to accommodate more groups, they should not be taking down names and numbers. View all feedback.
I will give a well-deserved 5* to a restaurant that tries and succeeds in an incredible coastal experience. Our server was top notch. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, French decent and an electrician, but real, honest and interesting, she helped make our experience positive. We had a diablo potion and a bourbon and orange drink. Both were really well done, first-class drinks. We had Haddock Tacos, oysters, Calamari and tuna chips. Everything very unique, well assembled and amazingly tasteful. The view from their outer deck with a view of the sea was perfect to assemble all this. Thank you. Half shell, chefs and amazing servers, it was a great experience!
Loved the food tasted great, never ate here but the pictures look good. I arrived at 7 was greeted by a dude then he threw his apron on the ground and drove away after I ordered a simple bacon egg and cheese. And one simple crepe. And they refused to serve me!!!! extraordinary experience and food!!! I give this establishment 5 stars. The bacon and egg was very over cooked and rubbery tasted like mussels. And I swear I think I found a Calimari ring in my egg!!!! Which is weird because this place doesn’t serve seafood.
