During our visit to Lunenburg in Nova Scotia, we stumbled upon this charming little shop that caught our attention. Something about it just felt right, and we were not disappointed. The service at this restaurant is top-notch. I had a special request for an egg on a Sunday night, and the woman who I think is the owner/manager was very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't a necessary request, but her willingness to fulfill it made my night incredibly special. I will definitely be returning soon! View all feedback.
Good classic ice cream but a bit overpriced for the non homemade flavors, friendly staff. Then you can go enjoy it outside with a nice view!
We came to Lunenburg on our Nova Scotia getaway, and strolling around, this particular shop stood out. There was just something about it, and sure enough, we were beyond pleased. Our daughters loved the ice cream, and I got a block of their cookies 'n ' cream fudge which was most delicious. The interior of the shop is very well decorated, especially the two swings with ropes lined with flowers.
Service at this shop is second to none. I made a special request on Sunday evening for an ice cream, and the woman who I believe is the owner/manager for the night was very pleasant and helped me out. It wasn’t a “must-have” request, but her willingness to oblige made the night really special for me. I’ll be popping back as soon as I can!!
Lovely place. They were out of homemade icecream on our visit.
If you're in Lunenburg, be sure to treat yourself to this ice cream shop! It's my favorite in all of Nova Scotia. The portion size for the price is excellent - their single scoop is larger than a double scoop at some ice cream shops in Halifax. We tried the maple walnut ice cream and it was delicious; a perfect taste of Nova Scotia. The quality is on par with other ice cream shops in the province. The waffles are also fresh and you can definitely taste the difference in the cones.
