Just wow. My wife and I ate at the bar and were completely entertained watching this congenial team who obviously love their work. The oysters were terrific and the scallops carbonera will impress the most discerning foodie. Would return in a heartbeat. View all feedback.

It was our anniversary. Would have appreciated any acknowledgement. Server was ok but we had to listen to the other server explain the dishes. Decided to skip dessert as we weren’t having the best time. Did the tomatoe salad appetizer nice flavours except for the tomatoe sorbet combo didn’t really go with the rest. We came here for a late supper on a recommendation from our BnB hostess. Mister had the scallops carbonara and I had the seafood tower. Everything was fresh and full of flavour but, that carbonara is still on my mind weeks later. Noodles were perfect al dente and the scallops were grilled to perfection. This dish was on par with the Roman pasta and e had the week prior in Rome! Must try.
If you sit at the bar you can see all of the food being prepared. I had only wine and half shell oysters and scallops, which were incredible, but I would have been happy with any of the dishes that I saw prepared. Highly recommended!
This restaurant was recommended by friends and the people we stood in line with to get into it. We were not disappointed. The oysters were amazing and the chicken carbonara was to die for. The atmosphere is so up beat we wanted to stay for hours. Would highly recommend visiting and we can't wait to visit again.
The food was extremely expensive! Ordered a lobster club sandwich came as a hamburger bun, small and cost $25 Service was bad! As well. Do not go there expecting lots of food for your money you will have a very rude awaking! Canned lobster very little on the bun! Mussels ordered for $9 had 10. $60 later!
I had the most memorable meal of my NS trip at the Half Shell. Salmon. Beautiful presentation, attentive staff, good wine list and value.
