Stopped in for lunch on the way to cherryville and there was room across the street for parking a fifth wheel which is a plus. The four of us had fries, popcorn shrimp, mushroom Gouda burger and the Millie burger. House made burgers and fries with the only letdown being the Caesar salad was all packaged dressings and oversaturated. The rest of the meal was great though and we enjoyed it all. Decent price point and service, with a ticket time of about fifteen minutes, and the front and back of house are both very clean. A very good pitstop while travelling.
We came to Lumby for the music/art festival and we decided to come here for dinner. We were very impressed to see how many vegetarian options they have. We both had the vegetarian burger and it was awesome. All food is homemade and the prices and service are pretty good too. Great place to visit.Enjoy.
We stopped here after paddleboarding Mabel Lake. We were super hungry when we finally got into Lumby. My boyfriend suggested this place as he visited it a couple years ago on a bike trip. He remembered coming in soaked from the rain and the owner insisted that she hang up his bike gear to dry out! So nice! So we sit on their patio which is full of flowers and you can watch the traffic go by on Main Street. We got the special which was pretty much fish and chips on a sandwich. Really tasty They had gluten free bread for me! I would like to go back for their homemade hamburgers and mushroom patties.
The fish and chips at this restaurant were excellent – they were non-greasy and lightly battered. The homemade fries were cooked to perfection. We also tried their homemade pumpkin spiced cheesecake, which was light and fluffy with a great smooth taste. The sticky caramel cake with ice cream was moist, flavorful, and hot. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. The prices were reasonable.
