I called because I desired to dine at the restaurant. However, I was informed that the business is closed, out of business. The food was great every time I've visited. I think Luling needs to do better supporting businesses in their community.

A Santos dining experience is a must! Chef Natasha outdoes herself with every visit. Tonight, we had the Heavenly Seafood Platter. Everything was fried perfectly and so light and crispy. The cornbread that comes with it is a bite of heaven for sure. For dessert, don 't pass up the milk and cookies. The chewiest, most chocolatey cookies you will ever eat. Then you dip them in the warm milk and it 's a party in your mouth. Our server was so sweet and professional. We love dining at Santos!

Santos was excellent, but unfortunately, this is their last weekend. They are closing permanently after Valentine’s Day.

Updates. 1/14/23. As you can see I dropped from 5 star to 3. Guys what happened. None of the above dishes were available only “bar food” as the menus picture indicates. The food I had Thai shrimp and salmon appetizers were very good. Some of the others were iffy. Great wine glasses and a reasonable corking fee of $15. Special drinks were very good also. If you are looking for a place with good small plate you may want to try but not regular entree of seafood or steaks. Waitress was pleasant but should have been more knowledgeable of dishes. All that said I know it’s been tuff hiring personnel which may have added to the critique’s direction.
