The pasta... read more We ate here twice during our vacation. The restaurant offers good, down-to-earth Italian cuisine without any frills. The grilled octopus was a dream. The pasta with porcini mushrooms, the gnocchi pomodoro, and the pizza were also really good. Before your meal, you always get bread, focaccia, or something else delicious. The chef is a true Italian character. Very friendly, funny, and incredibly personable. If we had been vacationing in Luino, we would definitely have gone there more often. Especially because the prices are really good. The first time, we came just before lunchtime, and we still managed to get a table.

The two pasta dishes as starters were very good, as were the main courses like fish and stew. Water and espresso were also included. And limoncello was on the house. The service was very friendly.
