But the pork steak I had was still very good and it cost nearly nothing. The waitress spoke simple and slow Spanish for me, was very friendly, and offered me a menu in English. Very nice experience overall.

Not only is the restaurant great but the town of Lugo is fantastic. It's not on the tourist trail and no silly prices.

In an unsuspicious street, behind a nice entrance you'll find a bar, and in the back a large busy restaurant reservations are helpful. Great food and service.

I am really proud to have created a trip-advisor profile for this place, since it was a hidden treasure that only locals knew before that and since then it has rised up to #3!! We had pulpo (octopus), setas (mushrooms) and zamburiñas for starters and beef stakes with pork ribs for mains, which were delicious as always! Cristian -the main cook at the barbecue- deserves a special mention!!!
