This is our first visit to this restaurant and we were certainly impressed from the moment you arrive. A friendly greeting at the door and an introduction to the wait staff that will look after you for the night and look after you they do. We chose the hot cold seafood platter for two. What Manuela Christiansen doesn't like about Lugarno Seafood Restaurant:
No parking, Very expensive, Tired building and very serious wait staff. Apart from our particular waiter, all the others were less than friendly and seemed not to care about their customers. A disappointing meal all round. View all feedback.

Never a disappointing moment at Lugarnos seafood. Exceptional service, mouth watering food, lovely lunch time views or dinner at sunset on that river make it such a pretty spot. My daughter and I share the same date for our birthdays and every year as a family we all go for our birthday lunch. We love the day off work/school indulging in great food getting totally spoilt.
Nestled on the banks of the serene Georges River, this is definitely a restaurant with atmosphere and a view. I came here for lunch with four friends to catch up and celebrate the festive season. The service was spot on, the food delicious. Personal favourites included the Butterfield King Prawns, grilled Tasmanian Salmon and the simply delicious Cinnamon Poached Pear. The wine list has been sensitively curated with our wine selection being a perfect match, fully enhancing the flavours of the food. Truely a special and memorable lunch left not wanting for anything.
Firstly I don’t understand people coming on here complaining about the price. You should read the menu and enquire about pricing if you are on a budget. I only look at reviews to see how the food tasted. I pay $400 and above easily for a meal when I’m with my husband only but expect to pay that much if I’m ordering platters and cocktails and anything else that’s pricey (clearly priced on the menu before ordering). Lugarno seafood in my opinion, is the freshest tastiest seafood in Sydney. I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and never have I ever been disappointed. The waiters are mature and older in age so you won’t get a teenager that will forget your meal or is thinking about checking their Instagram. I’ve only been when there has been valet parking and if the parking is too full just give the valet assistant a tip, it won’t break the bank and he will gladly park your car further away and walk the distance to bring it back for you when it’s time to leave. They are always busy and that’s for a good reason. Love this restaurant and if it were closer to where I lived I’d eat there more often as they have a variety of food not just seafood.

Thanks to the restaurant's team for making the evening a special one.
