Well....we finally are giving up on the Berlin location. We had our last meal there tonight. Christina our server was awesome...the food was awful. Surf and turf the surf was dry and tasteless and the turf was suspect on being filet or not... and the Diablo was loaded with uncooked peppers and rubber seafood. My husband and I have been coming here for years…The past few visits, we have been very disappointed…All though the service has been excellent, the food has been terrible….We finally got the nerve to ask to for the owner…the daughter came over to our table and was very defensive instead of apologetic….She insisted that the chef and distributors were the same…..after 20+ years we know the difference…We also are hosting a family party (60 people) at the deptford location due to the quality of food Berlin has…sadly me and my family will not be dining at the Berlin location ever again….We realize the pandemic has caused hardship in many places but we feel the quality and recipe should not change but understand the price may be higher….to all and anyone reading this please support your local businesses like we do but don’t let the quality of food and service change your expectations, no matter what the cost!!!

Shame because it was so close to us and we love Giovanni. I guess it's a sign of the time. We are now making the truck to the Lakeside location in deptford

Our eight-member book club had our summer meeting today at Filomena’s- an annual tradition. Pepe made sure we had a quiet, comfortable place to share good conversation and have a delicious lunch. Our waitress, Michelle, was incredibly accommodating and eager to please. What an enjoyable experience!
Our book club met today for lunch at Filomena's . The food was delicious and our server Michelle was excellent. Pepe (the owner) went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
