Contribute FeedbackThe name fish temple is really chosen for this restaurant directly at the pier of the Travemünder Fischer. In short, the distance between food and processors can hardly be. In the hope that the inhabitants of the sea are truly consecrated here, I returned in the late afternoon in July 2019. The main house. The culinary focus of the menu is certainly not to be explained in more detail: everything else than fish and seafood is fed and some more North German classics would be a disappointment. On the other hand, during my visit I was tempted by a meal from the daily offer: the “filled octopus with salad and bread”. As mentioned above, I wanted to make a change of garlic to a black bread, which was also done without price change. Filled otopods with salad and black bread. The small octodes were filled in Mediterranean style with tomatoes, green olives and garlic. Luckily, he wasn't gum-like, but he could have been a little more tender. Fortunately, well-perceivable red stars were not saved, although I personally like to have a few more than too little. The filling was juicy and spicy for my taste, only the garlic perhaps somewhat too dominant. So it was not the worst decision to add another overload through a garlic bread. The additional salad, in which all components were fresh and crisp, could also convince. Kohlrabi, red beds and carrots of different colors were dressed with the spiral cutter. For this purpose a garlic dress could be delivered according to its own gusto (fortunately: for the octodes more than enough of its aroma. The black bread was a convenience product, but not as homemade, and therefore acceptable. This daily dish met with 14.5 € to be booked. On the other hand, in my opinion, quality and quantity (at many there would certainly have been only one octopus copy, here there were already three, even if there was no revelation and it was possible to share the garlic dose for a long time.
