This restaurant is a true locals spot in a charming piazza in Lucca. The food was the best we had during our trip to Lucca! I definitely recommend the Steak Fiorentina, delicious! Also, there was dancing and music in the square right next to the restaurant which was fun to watch while we were eating. Highly recommend this place!

They could not have been less welcoming or friendly. Very unusual, and definitely highly unpleasant.

The waitress was inattentive and not very friendly. Although she had only 2 tables to look after, we had to beg for her attention. and at the end she ignored us completely, and we left without a digestif. To pay we had to go inside, because she was so busy with the other table. The owner who handled our payment was not interested to hear if we were satisfied and liked the food. All in all, a very bad experience. It is most obvious that tourists are not welcome.
