We were not enamored with either the food or the service. I ate tortellini. They were ok, not delicious. My husband thinks he had cinghiale on noodles, which he felt the same way about.

What a gem! This restaurant is a true locals spot in a charming piazza in Lucca. The food was the best we had during our trip to Lucca! I definitely recommend the Steak Fiorentina, delicious! Also, there was dancing and music in the square right next to the restaurant which was fun to watch while we were eating. Highly recommend this place!

Genuine local food, the menu is changed according to what's in season, unique interior atmosphere, I keep coming back!

Local products, homemade pasta and bread, excellent wine of the house. among the appetizers we tasted the mixture and especially the excellent focaccia and lard. a couple of remarkable seconds choked with purée and wild boar with polenta. excellent also the chestnut. quick service, friendly staff, nice environment, great quiet location but very close to the center.

Characteristic place, very warm and welcoming. dishes made with care of the raw material. Lucchesi tordelli a little too spicy but good. ok stracotto with mashed potatoes, of course crafted. excellent selection of wines with offer of the territory super. Good desserts. correct quality/price ratio. a place to return to taste different dishes.
