Buddy's - Lucban
Buddy's
Description
Buddy's restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and a blend of traditional Filipino dishes, but reviews reveal a spectrum of dining experiences. While some patrons rave about signature items like Hardinera, Leche Flan, and Pancit Lucban, others express disappointment in flavor and portion sizes. Service efficiency also varies, with some guests noting long waits during peak hours. Despite recent price increases and claims of reduced portion sizes, many customers appreciate the reasonable prices for the ample servings, making it a popular choice for both locals and tourists alike. Overall, Buddy's continues to draw a loyal crowd, though expectations may vary.

Food was great. The pancit just came out last. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The food is good, do try their Lucban Pancit and Lucban Longganisa. Their store also has a great variety of food choices to pick from. Serving is big, if they say for 2 persons, it is nearly enough for 3 or 4 persons serving. They also sell frozen versions of their Longganisa if you want to bring home some for friends and loved ones that can't join you when you go here. Despite all of this, parking is quite hard to look for as most of the area is full of 2-lane roads.
A taste of Lucban! Lucban is where the Pahiyas Festival is. If you want to taste local, visit this restaurant, near the Lucban Church. They have big servings at affordable prices! Pork Steak, Pancit Lucban, Pizza and their Halo2 and Banana con yelo is a must to try! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
OK so the last time I was here I remember not particularly impressed with the food. This time, I actually liked the pork barbeque that I ordered. My wife also liked the sizzling pork chop. But the service was not that good. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food to be served. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
