Bistro 5 - Lucan

We had heard so much about Taste Buds that we couldn't wait to try it for ourselves. When the opportunity arose, with family visiting from Liverpool and grandma as our babysitter, we made a reservation and were not disappointed. We had requested a table by the window and it was perfect. Bringing our own wine and paying corkage was a great option, and when we arrived Elaine took our wine, uncorked it, and poured four glasses while we perused the menus. We started with the prawns and wild mushroom crostini, followed by three of us ordering the pan-fried sea bass and one opting for the striploin steak for our main course - all cooked to perfection. I was the only one to have dessert, and the Irish liqueur rover was simply amazing. The atmosphere at Taste Buds is lovely, not too noisy with no excessive music, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. The evening was flawless and I highly recommend Taste Buds, eagerly looking forward to returning. Thank you, Elaine.

Last night, we had a Christmas party for 9 women at this restaurant and we couldn't have picked a better place. The food was excellent! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making for a great dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious dishes and fantastic service. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
