I had to get down looking all disheveled after sleeping in my truck overnight for this road trip.Friendly staff.

After never getting... read more We stop in Lubbock overnight 4 or 5 times a year going back and forth between Austin and Colorado. We always get dinner at this Whataburger. After never getting our order right EVER we have decided never again. The fact that there are no customers at 6 at night should tell you something. We always ask for a plain grilled chicken sandwich for our dog—we even say no sauce, no lettuce, no tomatoes—just a piece of chicken and the bun. Every time it has everything on it!!!! You order a junior cheese burger with jalapeños—am told they can’t do that although it can be done on the app. I don’t know if these workers are college students or not but I hope not because that would be a sad commentary on our education system because it is clear that these kids don’t have the brains to even be out of first grade.
