I was impressed how fast we were sitting for a party of four. the waiter who visited us made sure that our glasses were always full and made sure that he had taken into account the orders of each individual, even add one last minute. the food was absolutely delicious, the benton I had ordered was the salmon and would definitely recommend to go back. What Favian Purdy doesn't like about Hayashi Japanese:
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. However, I had to give a low rating due to my concern for their turtle. The turtle lacks a heat lamp and UVB lamp, and it’s clear that this is affecting her shell and overall health. If the restaurant were to address this issue, I would have no problem giving them a higher rating. View all feedback.
I just wanted to grab the bag from the driver's seat. However, when I reached in to pick it up, I discovered that the person who packed the food hadn’t sealed the soup containers properly, causing them to spill. The bottom of the bag was completely soaked. What frustrates me the most is that both soup containers weren’t properly closed, and it made a mess everywhere.
For lunch there were many open tables and a large bar. The place seemed to be a little outdated, which corresponded to the food? The snake was good and also the DosEquis. My water cup was dirty, so I didn't drink it. The mushroom soup had a really strange taste on it, it seemed like it had bovine broth or old left fried onion rings in it. The salad came with the dressing already on him what funky and looked out to be crowned. We didn't eat it and wish he asked if we wanted it before we brought it. I ordered Chirashi plate. The rice was fantastic and most fish were decent. Some of the fish you could say were not fresh, so here to hope that I will not get sick. They also put so much parsley as shrimps. As I said, outdated. we are no longer in the 80s. I took a picture of it. It definitely looks better without it, I mean, it has enough color already so save some money, water and plants and simply do not use. The sushi roll I ordered was decent, had not enough aal in it for my taste, but it was good. My husband gasses the Hibachi and 2 reels. He was stuffed. He said the Hibachi was decent. I tried both his roles, one had no taste and the other was decent. These plates were worn together with the tables and chairs. This place needs an important update. If we get rid of the parsley, that would be a great first step. The server we had was super nice.
Food and drinks were great! Sat at bar, bartenders were both great. However I watch the guy making sushi in the black Hawaiian shirt, blow his nose, grab a napkin, wipe his hands then wipe the cutting board with it. NASTY! Although he put gloves on. He will never make sushi for my husband or myself.
Had a wonderful experience a great atmosphere, our server was very interactive with us all (6). our chef was very professional and was very funny when he prepared our food. our meal was delicious, from sushi rolls to hibachi steak and garnel.
