Super Awesome!. Was near my corporate office to get lunch and immediately the staff was super friendly and inviting and i got a menu and sat down and orderd, the food came out really fast and fresh and omgee it tasted sooo good i thought i was in my mother's or grandmother's kitchen it was just so good, i dont think they add a lot of salt in the food which i think is awesome cuz i hate over salted food. i went again... During my trip to Lubbock to visit some friends, I decided to try out this restaurant for breakfast after browsing Urbanspoon. I ordered an omelette and hash browns, which were good—not remarkable, but certainly enjoyable. Then, I spotted the Bavarian turnover and couldn't resist giving it a try. It was served warm and was simply delicious and indulgent. Although I didn't get to taste them myself, my friends ordered some cookies and couldn't stop praising them. The service was outstanding too; you can't beat that southern hospitality!
Don't miss out on this hidden gem! Apple Tree is a delightful family-owned restaurant known for serving the best pancakes in town. Their toast is perfectly done, and the home fries are both authentic and delicious. You simply must try the Southwest omelet—it's spicy and truly hard to beat! The coffee here is also quite impressive. The bakery counter boasts a selection of amazing treats, and I have a particular fondness for the peanut butter cookies. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and they even offer custom baking options. Their double pecan pie is a worthy rival to my wife's version! I've sampled the lunch menu on several occasions and have always been satisfied. Having a concise menu is definitely a plus. And we can't forget about the bacon quesadillas—they're fantastic! Apple Tree should definitely be on your list of must-visit breakfast spots.
The highlight of the experience was when my son called me. Cherry pie is his absolute favorite, and he told me this one is among the best he's ever had. Kudos to Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery for truly outstanding customer service! I will definitely make it a point to visit them during my next trip to Lubbock.
Hidden Gem!. We just found Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery this week. We had no idea that they were even there! What a surprise to find the best biscuits and gravy in Lubbock. We will be regulars for sure!
We came in 6 minutes before thy closed and the staff acted like we were the first customers of the day. Even at closin time all the food was great and I am for sure coming back!
