The Belle Rive Terrace - Luang Prabang

What a great restaurant. All employees are very friendly with great English and service skills. The food is very good, which left us two nights in a row. The deck overlooking the Mekong is a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a cocktail. The cocktails are amazing and they are strong, there are no half-nuts here.

The bartender noticed that I didn't drink the wine and asked if something was wrong. The wine was out, he immediately offered to replace it. Exceptional service, first for me in Laos.

What a great restaurant right at the Mekong. We arrived at 5:30, perfect time to watch the sun and enjoy a drink before the meal. We got the Papaya salad green curry and the meat lover plate and everything was really delicious. I definitely come back.

Great food, service and views over the Mekong. We had a very nice waiter. Salad bar was delicious and good size portion! I had bacon, chicken, avocado and REAL parmesan with Caesar dressing. The salad leaves came with local Lao herbs and baguette. Next time I'll have crumbs instead of carrots. Each ingredient in the salad was fresh and prepared with care and attention, beautifully presented. Free cold drinking water. Very recommended!

Beautiful spot on the Mekong River to enjoy lunch, dinner or sunset drinks! We had a lovely big salad for lunch which was just what we were craving in this heat. The staff are really friendly and the menu has a great selection of Lao and western dishes, plenty of reasons to come back again!!
