because with high expectations after reading so much about it. and yes, while the service is excellent, eating was a bit let in...has the vegan sample plate and yes, that the dives were nice enough, but nothing from this world. I don't know. Maybe just try the wrong dishes? View all feedback.
We were twice and we were planning to go back here after only 5 days. Vegan set menu is a certain recommendation- let them know that you are fully vegan as the welcome drink can contain honey. The tamarind coconut sauce on the mango sticky rice is so good that we brought for us and gifts for friends. Such a good value for money (consuming for Laos, but not expensive) and a lot of food. Other items in the menu are just as good. The diving of Sampler was also a favorite. Incapable of giving 5 stars due to the app, as it is not complete Veg, but would definitely recommend to everyone! #Veganuary Updated by previous review on 2023-01
Probably the most understanding place for vegans that I have seen so far in Laos. Amazing food, but the thing I loved the most was the cooking class! Highly recommended and they cater for vegans so well that I didn't miss out on a thing. Do the class!
They offered a vegan tasting set for two people, costing around 260000 kip, which seemed an above average for the area. It really was a great deal. We shared three starters, four main courses, a dessert, and a drink. The staff explained what each dish was and how to eat it (we needed to wrap paste in leaves, add lemongrass, etc. A wonderful experience, highly recommended! Yo.
The cooking classes were catered and modified to my vegan lifestyle. The restaurant staff was excellent and friendly. They can answer any questions and the food I do good you’ll come back! it’s my “go to” in Luang Prabang.
An amazing place to do a vegan cooking class. They offer all vegan options but still remain the taste of Laos. You will visit the market and cook the whole day different dishes, including my favorite, dessert! The staff is very friendly and the owners start the cooking school with a wonderful reason. Bring the Lao food culture back. To locals, and tourism by teaching an writing cookbooks. It is a wonderful concept which needs some more attention! If you are looking for a vegan cooking class in Laos, I really recommend this one. Also if you just want to have dinner, this is the right spot! Just enjoy, it is worth it .
