King Of Donair - Lower Sackville

I really appreciate the friendly service from all the dedicated staff. The food is delicious, but my favorite has to be the pizza. Unfortunately, the donairs have declined in quality; they’re way too salty. Even when I’m a bit tipsy, it makes me feel unwell. So, I usually end up ordering the pizza instead.

The quality has declined since the last time I ate here about a year ago. The meat is fattier and not as tasty as before. However, it’s still good!

However, I found the donairs to be a bit salty, which can be overwhelming. Even if I’ve had a little too much to drink, the saltiness can leave me feeling unwell. I think I’ll just stick to the pizza from now on!

Incredible Donair! There's a reason this is the oldest and one of the most beloved franchises in Halifax. I was amazed by the generous amount of meat packed into the donair sandwich. The sweet white sauce is quite distinctive, and I really enjoyed it. I believe adding more vegetables could enhance it, but I suppose they prefer to keep it simple with just onions and tomatoes. The Donair Egg Rolls were fantastic as well!

The King offers the best Donair in town, no doubt about it. Make sure to grab an extra bottle of Donair sauce and generously pour it on for the ultimate experience. You can add Chris Brothers pepperoni for a twist, but if it's your first visit, stick with the King’s classic version topped with onions and tomatoes.
