Tom Kemble At The Pass - Lower Beeding

Matilda and Marco (And other very nice staff) helped make for a special evening. I was sceptical but pleasantly surprised by the well presented tasty food! Super!

The dish featured vibrant red lenses that paired beautifully with charming silky shlit shoes, creating a delightful presentation. The standout flavor came from clusters of tangy grapefruit, which provided a sharp, tart contrast to the spiced lenses, earthy mushrooms, and the sweet umami of roasted shallots.

I've dined here several times, and they absolutely love the new ambiance. Tom is a great guy, just like the rest of the staff. We always feel very welcome. We've always rated our visits a perfect 5/5, but last night was truly exceptional. The menu was fantastic, featuring Japanese influences and a great selection of fish. A huge thank you to Tom and the team for making my birthday unforgettable!

We had a wonderful experience in the past and will definitely return. I don't agree with the negative reviews. The service was exceptionally friendly, the food was delicious, and it was a delight to watch the chef at work.
