Valiant The Sandwich

To me, the reuben is king Supreme, the sandwich which I as a customer, hold in the highest of sandwich esteem, and the standard which I hold an eatery to. It is the defining moment for a restaurant, the moment that decides whether I become a return customer, or not. All that being said, I will never be leaving Valient the Sandwich, as they have delivered the best Like A Reuben sando I've ever had. Just knocked it right out of the proverbial park, they did. I don't have enough clapping hands or standing ovations to give this crew but they deserve them all. ?

EAT HERE.Fabulous food and great service.We got the Like a Rueben, T Mo's Gochu Cheesesteak, fries and a side salad.The Rueben was delicious I don't know where they get that rye bread but it is perfect.The Gochu Cheesesteak was one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever scarfed down. It was absolutely *flawless*. Very flavorful, but also 100% still a cheesesteak.

I think every place and everybody always has room for improvement. For my first visit, and for reading about it for many many months, I found this to be just what I expected. The service was fantastic, and what I mean by that it was a person that appeared to love what they do or perhaps the interaction with people. I sat at a window seat to watch the people walk by and when I looked over my shoulder, the place was packed. So my point to this arrive early and expect great food and great service?

First time we came here was a year ago and had an INSANELY good experience. Food was so great last time. This time… our two sandwiches took 20 minutes to come out and several couples who ordered after us were given their food waybefore us… so.. maybe we were forgotten? No clue honestly. Onto the food… we got a Cuban and a Hot not Hot. They were… lacking. Felt like there was WAY less on them than there was last time. They were just okay, not worth it for the price. The fries were ice cold and looked and tasted refried. Zero crunch and were sorta soggy.I loved this place, not sure if they just have new cooks or something? Definitely will come again hoping for a better experience next time

Could this be the best Reuben in Salem, Oregon? I think it might be. Goes great with their home-made tomato soup. Everything is made from scratch. Corned beef is tender and tasty.
