Signature Banquets - Lowell

Johnny w/ Signature helped me arrange the funeral luncheon after my Dad's funeral service in June 2023. My communication with him via email saved my fam and I so much time/stress during an already super stressful time for us. The day of the luncheon Kathy and staff made sure all ran smooth and every guest and table had what they needed. Super grateful to Signature for making that time as easy as possible for us. Also, FYI guests of the luncheon complimented the food to me left and right and my fam and I agreed (and I'm a restaurant snob who hates most banquet food). Signature is such a great asset to Lowell.

Was there for a wedding. Food was delicious and their vanilla cupcakes were heavenly.

We were here for a post funeral meal during the afternoon. The facility was clean, organized and food repair. The staff had tables set up for about 100 but quickly adapted when the participants grew to about 125 nice work! I was pleased that they had plenty of staff to help serve. The staff was young and perhaps less skilled, professional and confident than you might expect. However they didn 't very well! They were on top of refilling water/tea cravats and bread. They hustled to remove empty used dishes. Another good job! The meal was served family style. I understand that they planned for 100 and had 125 participants. The team quickly adapted and made more food. Nicely done! On the meal we 're had three meats (beef slices, fried fish, chicken), green beans and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were very creamy and smooth. Nice job apportioning just enough servings for the table without creating waste. The green beans were nicely cooked...not too soft and not marinated in oil/grease. The beef was a little bit tough but I think they had to make sure it was well cooked. The gravy gave the beef a nice beefy taste while adding moisture. The fish can out in small pieces which is nice considering not even one wants fish. The breading was a bit plain and a little think. The fish was fresh tasting. The tartar sauce was plain with a little bit of a heavy dill pickle taste. The chicken was in moderate sized pieces with a gravy as well. The chicken was thoroughly cooked without being over cooked. The gravy added moisture but wasn 't a strong accent to taste. I was reasonably impressed by what this team pulled off for this event.

We held a funeral luncheon here in December 2020 and were very satisfied with the food and service. Johnny responded very quickly to all my calls and questions and we were able to get everything arranged and a contract completed within a couple of hours. He and Cathy were very helpful and accommodating both in planning the luncheon and on the day of. The facility is new, nice, and comfortable. I heard a lot of positive comments about the food from my guests, and my family and I also thought it was very good. All the staff who worked the event were polite and helpful.

Had my daughters wedding at the venue. The original schedule they had for the day was changed when we arrived at the venue. The food was supposed to be ready by 2:30. It was not ready until 4:00. People sat around waiting. When the food was served it was cold. If you want to have a venue where you can also take photos outdoors this is not the place. I was disappointed.
