The portions are very small, and the yucca was unseasoned. They misrepresented what was included with the meal and then charged extra for it. Additionally, they didn’t have all the drinks they advertised, and they even forgot one of my drink orders. The plantains were also not prepared correctly.

The waitress who attended to me was very rude and even made negative remarks about me to her coworkers. Additionally, they charged me $1 for each shrimp instead of just pricing based on the portion size. The menu wasn’t visible, so I had no way to know the actual prices. While I do enjoy the food, the poor service has left me regretting my visit. I won’t be returning to this restaurant again.

I tried a potato ball, but I wasn’t a huge fan of it; however, everything else was delicious! Their sancocho is fantastic—perfect for a cold day when paired with some white rice. It might be a bit pricey, but considering the amount of leftovers we had, I think it was worth it.
