Was Anonym at Pizza Sub Stop a mag?
centrally located in the inner city lowell, from outside you could think that this place is just a regular pizza shop. they would be wrong. they have so many great vegan options! their homemade cheese sauce is quite creamy, so they do not expect daiya to talk on their pizza! their “Bacon” is made from mushrooms and seasoned to perfection. can not recommend enough! What Anonym dislikes about Pizza Sub Stop:
Easily the worst vegan pizza I’ve ever had, which I fee bad about saying. The “cheese” on the pizza is disgusting and about 2” thick. It’s not good cheese either. It’s disgustingly heavy and the flavor isn’t there at all. The mozzarella sticks aren’t cheese, but tofu deep fried. I would never go back there again. View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant twice and both times I ordered pizza. The first time I tried the 'Fiery Pulsar', which had a very spicy sauce with garlic, Thai chilies, habanero, and cheese. It was extremely hot and delicious. The second time, we requested the 'Veggie Lovers Pizza' with spinach, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and olives, but asked for it to be made with the same spicy sauce as the 'Fiery Pulsar'. The staff was accommodating and we loved the outcome. We ordered dairy cheese, but they also have vegan cheese available on their menu. Additionally, they offer a Jain menu, which I have never seen before, catering to vegan preferences. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant! I gave it 4 stars because it's not New York-style pizza, but in my opinion, it's the best around here.
My friends are vegan, I'm an omnivore, and I'm so glad they introduced me to this place. It has pizzas in all sorts untraditional flavors, like baba ganoush and chicken tikka. I enjoyed my felafel wrap very much; you might not if you avoid spicy food, but it was by nobmeans hot. Note that it doesn't open some days until 3:30; our late lunch became an early dinner. I look forward to trying the chicken tikka pizza.
I went to this restaurant solely because they have many vegan options, which is awesome! I got the Vegan Royal Nutty Greek Vegan Cheese pizza, and it was spectacular. It was definitely one of the best vegan pizzas I have ever had. On top of that, the staff was friendly and my pizza came out fast. I can't recommend this place enough.
Great place for Vegetarian and Vegans. They tailored the menue specially for Vegetarian. Great food selection. Everything made freshly. I loved their PavBhaji pizza (Created from famous Indian street Food). I also tried mexican pizza which was great and spicy . Small family owned restaurant but it was clean and nice.
