É um espaço do género "pequeno salão de chá", numa casa antiga, muito bem concebido em termos de decoração. O atendimento, prestável e simpático, presenteia-nos com uma oferta variada de chás e deliciosos bolos/tartes/queijadinhas/quiches, tudo servido com esmero em louças de muito bom gosto. Apesar da oferta da doçaria não ser muito variada, tem a garantia de "confeção caseira", da autoria da própria senhora que atende. Um conselho: diga os sabores que aprecia, e a dita senhora, encarrega-se de fazer um "chá à sua medida"... não se vai arrepender!

Great little find in Lousa tucked away in the top corner of one of the main squares, just next to the church, just 5 mins from the Palacio da Lousa hotel. Arriv... read more Great little find in Lousa tucked away in the top corner of one of the main squares, just next to the church, just 5 mins from the Palacio da Lousa hotel. Arrived latish afternoon between the two of us we ordered a cheesy toasted sandwich (with herbs) and a delicious very light carrot cake, spread with a thin layer of dark chocolate and scattered with almonds. Plus a pot of Early Grey tea and a coke. Everything absolutely delicious bill came to less than €7. This is a tiny place so probably not best to go expecting a huge selection (apart from the teas, of which there were many), but everything we had was top notch. Owner (Maria) was delightful there is no menu on display, so it is really down to a discussion with her as to what you're after and what she has available or can rustle up. If your Portuguese isn't great, French works just as well. Not sure about opening hours think it closes at 1900?
