What Hugo Moura doesn't like about O Gato:
Although highly recommended it was a disappointing experience overall . Food nice in the restaurant but the front bar is 100% smoking and uncomfortable. (Even for a smoker like me).Restaurant felt like sitting in a truckers cafe with plenty of fluorescent lighting and a 1970s big box TV on a shelf. 100% unatmospheric and bland. Restaurant had been recommended and was very nice. The quantity of food was almost over facing with all the side dishes. The food is traditional Portuguese and probably not so child friendly. The staff have a limited knowledge of English but the chef, and owner, speaks French. Very nice. View all feedback.
