Side dis... read more Typical Portuguese restaraunt , but fantastic value .We went for lunch and didn't need anything for dinner !Great grilled pork and Trout was delicious. Side dishes of rice , potatoes , cabbage etc etc are ridiculously large and we ordered half measures . Bottle of house white was €4.50 ...erm really ? Very helpful staff who tried hard to understand my miserable attempt at Portuguese , but we got there .Go there very hungry , it's great .

The food is traditional Portuguese and probably not so child friendly. The staff have a limited knowledge of English but the chef, and owner, speaks French. Very nice.

One ordered a different choice, lombinho do porco and this was excellent. Chips, potatoes and especially the migas were excellent. A very enjoyable meal (from someone who lives in Lousa)
