Forced by my wife to have an Hawaiian Pizza, take away to the room whilst watching a film in the Pinhal da Marina. The pizza was incredibly lovely and for the first time ever the pineapple for me fused with the rest of the pizza. A box of fries, which was too much, but all in all a great take away to binge on the sofa View all feedback.

We arrived fairly late on the first night of our stay at Pinhal da Marina, so we decided to eat at the on site Pinmar restaurant. We walked in at around 7:45, and the place was teeming with young people clearly an organised meal for a large group staying on site. But the staff were extremely helpful and fitted us in, sitting at one of the tables in the bar area. It was a buffet style meal, so we joined the queue and selected our food, which included tasty chicken in a creamy sauce and a tuna pasta meal. There were also a small selection of desserts, and coffee. All for 15 euros. Later in the week we ordered a takeaway meal from the main menu. Our selections included piri piri chicken, fried steak, and spaghetti bolognese. This wasn’t gourmet food, but it was tasty and the portions were more than generous. And it was great value less than 35 euros in total. The staff also lent us a couple of wine glasses, because there were none in our apartment. A very kind gesture. If you are staying at Pinhal da Marina, you should definitely give the restaurant a try. It’s so friendly and welcoming, and incredible value.
Whenever we stay at the complex, we always dine in the restaurant. The Restaurant is open to non residents and now offers half board options to residents. Personally we always go a l carte. The piri piri chicken is as good as anywhere on the Algarve and other plates of Sea Bass, salads, Mixed Grill are always readily available and at a very cheap cost. probably up to 50% off the marina prices If you get a chance, grab a lunch or dinner, and definitely enjoy the pleasant service from the bar and waitress staff. Last night, we decided to have take away, the omelette again for the wife and I had the mixed grill there was so many potatoes and meat left over just too filling and less than 20 euros
