The food was very tasty... read more We were really impressed with the Petunia restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our experience really pleasant. The food was very tasty Portuguese fare. The Petunia is not at all fussy but it is beautifully clean. We will certainly return.

The only positive thing was that the staff were very friendly but unfortunately it ended there. The food was just awful. I had no idea what meat the Sirloin steak was but I don't think it was beef. Strange taste and strange texture as it had been beaten with a hammer to try and tendorise it, it didn't work. Frozen scampi and frozen fries and poor quality. Cheap and cheerful is the best comment I can muster.

Service is not brilliant if they have more than five tables in use but they only seem to have one waitress. This place could easily get bistro style chairs , revamp and charge another 25% and people would still come.

It'... read more We wanted somewhere fairly cheap and cheerful for a late lunch on our last day, and Petunias was perfect. I remembered it from previous visits to Vilamoura. It's set back slightly from the marina and has indoor and outdoor seating. It's very popular and unpretentious. The prices and service are excellent, and we had a super lunch here. Would highly recommend.
