Fish soup was like dirty di... read more Don’t do what we did and not book and go to the marina. Everywhere was busy but this place. That should been the first warning sign. Fish soup was like dirty dish water with scraps of fish. Mushrooms to start just tasted like they...were just picked and cooked. Not washed and not seasoned. Lasagne is basically a microwave meal Mixed kebab, chicken tasted off, pork smelled off and the beef was so tough and over cooked. All the meat is obviously frozen and the funny tastes I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some cross contamination going on. This place could easily be on Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares. Please, if you respect your insides avoid this place at all costs and book before you go out.

Good selection on the menu, frie... read more Glad I did not read the reviews before selecting this place. Ate here with my daughter for lunch after a walk around Vilamoura. Good selection on the menu, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean inside the restuarant as well. We had a prawn salad and...a piri piri chcken with a salad instead of the hips. Both were a generous size and excellent. The chicken just the good side of spicy. A glass of beer and an Aperol Spritzer to wash it down. Good value at Euros.

Gavea never disappoints food was great, service from the young bar staff was amazing, prices were fantastic. I would recommend...a visit whenever in Vilamoura!

Fish and chips was pretty good to smaller pieces of fish at each a bargain gois sized portions aswell....We enjoyed it so much we went back again a couple of evenings later . I had the Piri Piri chicken which wasnt as spicy as the other evening but still good. My wife had lamb chops a big portion with chops.
